Certificate in English for Academic Purposes

This course prepares you for study at polytechnic, college or university. It aims to develop both academic communication skills and study skills. The course is organised around practical assignments, doing research, giving seminars, and writing long essays and reports on various topics. Students who successfully complete a 12 week course receive a full 'certificate in english for academic purposes' at level one or level two. You should be at pre-intermediate level or above to enter a eap course. One part of the eap course is to prepare students for IELTS (for entrance to New Zealand, Australien and British universities) or TOEFL (for entrance to American universities)
